Wee Wolves Basketball Camp 2015

Dates:                JUNE  10  -  12 (Wednesday through Friday).
Place:                Westwood Elementary School Gym.
Time:                Wednesday, June 10  @  4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
                           Thursday & Friday, June 11 & 12 @ 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Cost:                  $30 per Camper or $25 for Wee Wolves participants.
Ages:                  Camp is open for rising 1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade Boys & Girls.
Focus:                Camp will focus on basic Fundamental Basketball Skills.
Registration:   Campers may register on the first day of camp at 4:00 p.m. – Wednesday, June 10.

Click here for the registration form for Players Edge Volleyball Camp.  This camp is for rising 7th-12th grade girls that would like to try out for the middle or high school teams this fall and ideally have played volleyball.  The camp is run by Coach Hamric from Catawba College and is geared toward players that already know the basics of volleyball, are athletic, and competitive.  It will be fasted paced and the girls will learn a lot.

Mountain View Elementary has earned state recognition from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction at the annual Positive Behavior Intervention & Support (PBIS) Recognition Ceremony in Greensboro, NC on November 4, 2014.

PBIS is a data driven school-wide initiative for improving social competence and academic achievement for all students. The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) recognizes schools across the state each year for high implementation success of PBIS by awarding three levels of recognition:  Green Ribbon, Model, and Exemplar.

Mountain View was recognized as an Exemplar School for the 2014-15 school year.
