West Jefferson Chevrolet's inaugural Coats 4 Kids holiday contest was an enormous success. The contest pitted the county's three elementary schools against one another for a great cause – the donation of lightly-used winter coats to keep our county's children warm this winter. At stake was a $500 donation to the school that gathered the largest number of coats. And the winner was...Mountain View Elementary School. The school's children and parents donated 657 coats. There were over 1,200 coats donated to the three schools.
